What to buy

[I'll be putting up links to individual recommended books shortly - call back...]

I suggest that you buy four items:

1. Text book. You will be using a text book in class, but many schools don't allow them out of school, which is a shame. Buy your own copy from Amazon or similar or find a student who has a used copy they don't need any more.

2. Revise guide. There are many guides, the most common being those published by CGP Publishing, which you can often get through school. Longmans and Letts also make good ones - look through WH Smiths and other good bookshops. Make sure you get the right one for the exact specification you're studying.

3. Exam-style questions. The workbooks and collections of exam-style questions published by CGP are good. Again, you should be able to order through school.

4. A large collection of exam papers and specimen papers. Your school should give you these, but I list those published on the exam board's websites which you can download. CGP also published exam-style question collections.
