If you have a teenager studying, or preparing to study, for GCSEs, I can help.
I’m Bob Foster, a private tutor, and this website contains details of science GCSE courses – content, exam dates and links to exam papers.
I teach online as well, if you don’t have access to a good local tutor. Online tuition is very easy now, and effective. You can contact me for maths or science tuition – or any questions about GCSE – 07989412319 or email me.
GCSE science is in transition this year- with new courses replacing the old. The last exams for the old specifications are in summer 2012, so if you’re halfway through your GCSE science, you’ll probably be following the old course.
But it is a bit complicated. Many students have already started GCSE science in year 9 and haven’t decided whether or not to go for triple science. Even the schools are confused!
The important thing is to make sure you know which course you’re following.
The best way to keep up to date with new videos, articles and GCSE news is to receive my – free email newsletter.
This diagram shows the common structure for the main GCSE science courses, Science (core), Additional and Triple (separate) sciences.
Use the menu above to go to your exam board – include just the three main UK examboards, AQA, Edexcel and OCR. I list the courses – both old and new – along with details of how to get past papers (if they exist), specimen papers, marking schemes and exam dates.
Over the Autumn term I’ll be adding videos showing you how to navigate the exam board websites as well as reviews of useful revision websites and tips on how to learn science.
As always, do get in touch if you have questions.
